Went on about a 5 mile day hike with the grade three kids today-I can't believe how out of shape those town kids are-we weren't a half mile in and there were kids begging for somebody to carry their pack. As you can see Emily is alot softer hearted than I am-she carried four extra packs-alot of tongue biting going on by her Dad lol.

When we went into the bush for the weekend during hunting season, you could tell who had office jobs in the big city and who spent the weekends working, breaking cattle, fixing fence, etc. lol. The city boys had the quad miving back and forth and me n dad had as much at the 'hideout'(hunting sleeping site) by walking, and carrying and the guys who used the quad were amazed. lol. And guess who dragged the deer out of the bush? lol.

It's nice to see the kids getting outside during school hours on a nice sunny day liek today, too bad im not supposed to go outside. lol.

We don't have ticks up here in God's country-we went on a picnic once in Montana and them rotten things were everywhere-the mosquitoes weren't even bad today.

Beautiful country! It's been raining and thunderstorms for 4-5 days here! Actually had hail this afternoon! You've got it good today! SarahZ
