Angus, with judging you know the thing is to say what YOU like about the animal, horse, cow, pig doesn't really matter. Check out MCG site, then make the judging your own!

Thanks MCG

Mrs.Greg,

This is like 1/3 of our points and if I want that new gun or some spending money (if i get a girlfriend I hear theyre expensive) then I kinda need to do it this way. lol. Eveery other year Iveput down my opinions and ive gottwen lower marks cause I wasnt putting some of the majro requirements, and colours dont count. lol. The last time I was at a show like this was two years ago, and for the trip to BC I might need some $$ so here's my chance. lol.
PS-are we still invited to go to your place fro an evening??

Ya,I guess every area is different,I know our daughter always topped in judging because she used knowledge and alot of personal opinion. If you believe what you write it should come across. I'm looking forward to you guys stopping in,let me know when, steaks will be taken out and whats your favorite pie???

Are they going to bring out a demo horse for the judge to go over with you. If they do listen to what he says he'll tell you what he wants to see on the judging cards. Megan and Ty clean up at judging just about every year-I think Emily even won cloverbud lol. The dang senior judging trophy is about the size of the Stanley Cup lol.

I thought u said you were judging draft horses... then ignore what i said before not so much is placed on the bone and feet.... still lots but not as much as in draft... or so I have heard! Pretty much every judge will tell u what they want on a card... repeat a few of those words and You will get in good. Also I have learned that in saskatoon some judges will give u 5 marks for a summary at the bottom, of something like this is why I placed this class 1342 kinda thing.
