| I had to take a dog to the vet this morning. When I came in last night, Ms. Sugar was sitting their looking at me with a huge swollen spot on the side of her face. The first though was snakebite but no fang marks. I got a flash light and looked in her mouth to find an abscessed tooth. The poor thing had to be in great pain. I dropped her off with the vet this morning, they will pull the tooth this afternoon, and we can pick her up this evening.

| We had one come into the dental office where I worked, that was all swollen, young fella 18 or 19 years old. His dad brought him in, and kinda blew the doc off when he called in antibiotics and told him to go get them NOW.....he never went and got them. So, a couple weeks later, the kid ended up in the hospital in the Intensive Care unit because the infection from the abcess had spread and was in the fluid on his brain. I don't know how many people I've told..."It may just be an abcess, but it CAN get very serious."
