Hey Lazy Ace and TTB, I heard some good news about you and your
cattle yesterday. Are you going to share it with us, or are you going to
leave it up to me?
BTW, you know how much I liked that bull from the start!!!!!
Congratulations on the sale of the heifer!!!!!!!1

Thank you for the complements....
Yes, it's been an exciting week around our house.
The North Dakota Red Select Sale, managed by BRG, was this past weekend. Our offering was choice of 2 bred heifers and choice of 2 heifer calves.
Our bred heifer sold very well, to Stevenson-Basin, in Montana. This is her picture, she is sired by OHRR Dakota Copper 29K.
She was the second high selling lot behind a really nice fall cow-calf pair consigned by Weidenbach's, also from South Dakota.
Our heifer calf was the third high selling lot, selling to Ludvigson Stock Farm in Cushing, Iowa. She is sired by Brown Vacation. Here she is:
We're very humbled by how well our heifers sold. I'd like to personally thanks Doug Stevenson and Ludvigson's for buying our consignments. They are both great operations, and we're glad our heifers are going to good homes, and hope they will do well for their new owners.
We'd also like to thank BRG for running a first class sale.
The ABS news FH refers to is that we sold one of our bulls, BHR Golden Boy 453B to them---they called yesterday and will be sending the contract.
Here is his pic as a two year old:
Again, thanks for the nice complements.
Cheers---
TTB
