we sold soe feed to a guy...Raw form, $15 per ton....6 tons per load and he hauled....What we noticed...It is easier to collect $100 than $1000....$1000 easier than $10,000....

Keep current....Next load never gets picked up till the last load is paid for,

When I was a young fella, went to make a purchase. I asked if my credit was any good. He looked at me and smiled, said you are a really nice guy.
We got a rule here. Nice Guys pay Cash. Laughing

Hay, Cattle, Equiptment or otherwise. Cash or certified check or you don't load. Period. Farming and Ranching is hard enough. We can't afford to do BUSINESS with our hearts.

I feel for the hay seller but being a hay buyer you have to be careful on that end too. Best way is pay as you go or find one outfit that's good and stick with them. I've gotten that raw feeling in the posterior a few times prepaying for hay.
