| Land values are getting a bit nuts on that rough stuff... For us it is the folks out of Chicagoland looking for a place to hunt... Rough pasture= bird hunting, trees= deer hunting and with more and more Turkey showing up that is becoming a force too.. Farm land was pretty flat this past year as far as value but with more tax free exchanges and 3.50 corn you will see rent values go up and land values go up.... Up until 3.50 corn you could pencil it out that it made more sense to run cattle, especially with the 1.25 calves... NOt so much anymore, lol... Oh well, at least no one will be collecting CCP's or LDP's this next year, lol.
