| Was just hanging out with my players before the game-when my goalie comes up to me and informs me he broke two ribs in yesterdays game. Took a slapshot up high-he never came out of the game but showed me the puck rash after. He played today too-you got to love a gamer.

| Ohh well maybe it just isn't his sport-is he going through a growth spurt it can be frustrating at that age when your skating with a new body every couple games or so.After the season we had my team is definately battle hardened.

| We have three tiers of hockey in Meadow Lake-there's kids that get their skates under them in house and get a bit hungrier and go on to play a tier or two up. It's all good though. Our AA team had to go with some out of town kids that weren't committed to practicing so were a bit short benched. I guess it doesn't help we have 9 kids from here playing AAA or in the WHL. My 13 year old daughter is going to play house next year which should be interesting.

| My son played a midget game with two broken ribs and a bruised kidney, seen the hit and didn't really think anything of it until the end of the game and he told me the pain he was in...I was NOT impressed, broken ribs can pucture lungs.

| His must of been cracked pretty low to get his kidney too-I'm surprised he could even skate with a bruised kidney. Our guy didn't seem to be feeling his much it was up real high I don't know how a puck snuck in there even.

| Wait till you sneeze with broken ribs-makes breathing seem like a joy. My guy had been cleared by his parents and doctor to play.
