You can wear whatever you want to, Jigs. I'd wear red in Manhattan.

Sam Keller (transfer from Arizona St) is widely expected to be our next QB.

Like Callahan said, if you want to be a prima donna, you can go to Kansas St. So far that stud Freeman is 0-1 against the Huskers.

What the heck is a green persimmons?
can not wait until he is 3-1 vs the big dead

I suppose if I were Callahan, and a new coach pops in and takes my QB away I would play him down too....

NU has had it's share of prima donnas......

Only one that I can think of.(prima donna). Dream on little jigs... Not only will you eat crow with Auburn, but the Husker nation will put a whole new meaning to "you want a piece of this? for your purple kitties...
MEOW..... Twisted Evil

If Freeman ends up 3 - 1 vs Big Red, make sure you don't pinch yourself and wake up from your dream! Callahan actually said more good things about him that I would of.

NU has had more than our share of championships too. Last count, there's 5 big trophies, 40 something conference trophies, 20 some bowl prizes, etc... in South Stadium. Why don't you meet me there and I'll show you what a National Championship trophy looks like? You can take a picture of one for the folks back home... Wink

I just looked at the list. Princeton has 24 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
does that mean the Huskers are almost as good as Princeton is?

Or does that mean Nebraska's Tradition is just 20% (5/24ths)as good as Princetons?

Laughing

Mike you ignorant fool ! don't you know that pride and tradition are ONLY found at NU ! and that the great OU / NU rivalry is the envy of every other college. Princeton is ancient history. we are just going back to the 70's, where NU was a lethal juggernaut ....you know, win 9 games and then let someone bitch slap them in the Orange bowl....... it is tradition!

stop using facts to point out the biased opinions of those who don the rose colored glasses. just bow to the big red but don't bow to long or lil' red will poke you in the prison pocket!

I should keep my mouth (fingers) shut on Nebraska. They are a fine program for sure. Having said that...................

I just find this "Tradition" BS eerily similar to the Univ of Alabama fans since we have beat them for the last five years and the last 8 out of 10.

They still won't concede domination. Laughing

All we have to do is hold our hand up with 5 digits showing and they go berserk, talking the tradition crap and how they will regain their national status once again since they have finally landed a heralded coach.

Whoopi-Doo

As for you. I was just wondering how long it's been since we lost a season opener at home? I'll look it up. It might give us something else to talk about when ya'll come down in Sept. Wink

By the way, I'm having my old Lincoln Towncar tastefully painted in "Blue and Orange", "Purple", and "Red" for the trip to the game.

And I'm getting "Willie" (my main man) a little black suit with a chauffers cap and bowtie to drive us over to Auburn that day.
