Does anyone know that country? I am heading down there to try and call in a big gobbler, and looking for any advise about the country. Going down sorta blind, but that is part of the fun Smile Shawn

It's kind of hilly with cedar draws. The niobrara river meets the Missouri there also. The bars are open on Sundays if that trips your trigger, some of the yokels enjoy Tom and Jerry's on Christmas morning Shocked

I guess there is some public land near the niobrara river. So i will start out there and if there are not many birds I will start knocking on doors and talk to some land owners in the area. Thank you for the info. SR

I would hesitate about knocking on doors. When an out of state hunter shows up at my door opening day of season with a gun he is SOL. If you PM me your background I might be able to get you some names and numbers.
