I really think it is funny that NU people can not accept that KSU is not the door mat we once were....sure I know the record, but I like to think we are on our way back. Prince has some real good talent coming in and a plan for success .... 95% of my family are Husker fans ( yes I am the only sane person born into a bunch of retards) for the first 25 years of my life all I heard was " can't spell suck with out K S U " well when we won 3 in a row and 4 of 5 over NU it was amazing how fast we went from wanna be pretenders to cheaters, criminals, and almost as scummy as OU. take it for what you want, but I read that as poor sports, bad losers, and people who did not like being knocked around by the kid they used to hammer on.
All I hear is "greatest fans in the nation" well I have met more to contradict that statement than I have to support it.
when I was around 10, I saw my first KSU / NU game in Manhattan, 56 - 3 or something like that..... never saw a good winner that day either.
however the pride of Huskerville has to be the 80 year old lady who flipped me off in ( I think ) 2002. the game Sprowles broke free down the sideline for a 75 yard TD. I jumped up and screamed " humiliate them" and she turned and gave me the bird.
although, while a junior in high school, we were at the state FFA contests in Lincoln....partied with a few college gals from NU.....I found a new appreciation for Huskers that night.....so you are not all bad

| Jiggs, you can find whatever you want in any fanbase good or bad. Go to anywhere east of the Mississippi or west or the Rockies and they can't tell a difference between a Husker and a Wildcat. (This rule doesn't apply to mahsourah fans - they're all scum.) No doubt the KSU turn arround is amazing, but the Prince recruits, you'll see, are mostly not D! studs that Snyder built his defense on.

finally, some common ground......
yes, I will admit that I am a bit ashamed at the way the defense and special teams have wilted at KSU. for many years that is what kept us in games when our O was not up to speed. Snyder had a talent at taking kids no one else thought would make it, and turned them into players. Simmineau, Newman, Sprowles, and Copper are a few that pop into mind right away.
