Where I could name you the names of almost everyone in NASCAR, I hardly know the names of any of these Indy guys...

I have no problem with women driving- as long as they paint all their cars florescent orange so when the male drivers see them they know the driver may not think rationally when behind the wheel, and drive accordingly... Wink Laughing

I'd draw the line at female and blonde tho Wink Razz Laughing Laughing

Yep- one of the gals already penalized for speeding in the pits- then she got antsy (thinking she'd be late for her hair appointment) and spun out and hit the wall Rolling Eyes Razz Razz Laughing

Now the other gal just got hung up in the pits for several minutes-- Looked to me like she was digging thru her purse and didn't realize the light had changed.... Shocked Wink

Mrs. Greg--If they can't restart this because of the rain delay-- you will have done good at your picks...I think Marco is second and Danica is third...

Darn,darn,darn...Marco could have been ahead if his team wouldn't have said to let the other guy go ahead. Marco placed second in the last few moments last year...hes only 19.I hate to see it end just because of rain Sad

Danika IMHO is the only girl driving that is a contender for the Indy.

I had never heard of her before- so been doing a little googling and reading...Quite a gal-- and a good looking brunette too Wink -- You may be right....She has quite an attitude toward racing the men:

Quote:
"I need to beat them, belittle them and make them feel small. Trying to run them off the road at 170 mph isn't sweet and kind."

And one article said all the male racers complain because they think she gets an unfair weight advantage because of her size: 5' 2"- 100 lbs...

as long as the winner of indy is an AMERICAN, I am ok with it..... Indy car is the nancy boy sport of racing, now you take a bunch of rednecks, put them in a stock car, and then you get a race. don't see any bump drafting in Indy car....of course if Jeff Gordon went to running Indy, I would follow the sport....because seeing him eat the wall is my favorite part of the race!

Well it was a foreigner- but he is married to Ashley Judd...Dario Franchitti- sounds Italian to me, but they said he was a Scotsman...Sounds like a Scotsman...

Mrs. Greg's Marco had a good crash and flip at the end- but he walked away....

Jigs,I'm guessing your not a Jeff Gordon fan Laughing Greg and our son like Nascar,I've always loved the Indy cars,I'm trying to like Nascar but I struggle.

A Scotsman wins the Indy,I can take that and Marco didn't get hurt.See one never knows who,how or why the Indy will be won...thats my intrique with the sport.
