| I may be just an old grump, but I could have done with more rodeo and less interviews and such. Watching some gal warble a song is no substitute for broncs!

Amen!
One of my pet peeves on theNational finals telecast is when they have to interview the winner of the previous event. At least they have used a split screen, lately.

| Ohhh please!!!!! If they want to give us a few hours of rodeo coverage a day I can suffer through a pretty blonde girl singing a song. We got to see every wagon heat which was awesome-I think almost half the wagon guys have ties to our neck of the woods. I think they showed us almost every qualified bronc ride and a few that weren't. Luke Ellingson showed that you don't have to 5 foot nothing and 120 pounds to ride bulls lol.

| The wagons were smoking tonight-I think three out of top five runs were by local guys. The horses were kind of average today though. Is Blair Burke riding Trevor Brazille's calf horse-man I like that pony.

We switched to DirectTV and the feller installed it yesterday. When I got home last night I was looking over the new channels and found the Greeley rodeo from the 4th. I watched the dogging and the bronc riding and I don't think they left a ride out. Don't know who the commentaters were, but they did a fair job making sound while waiting for a rider. They had enough time between riders that they would show a replay at least twice, from 2 different angles. It was great!
When the guy was here earlier I saw th Calgary rodeo, but it's on a channel we don't get with this package without having to pay extras. I might need to call and order it, if it's not too expensive.

| It's on here after the 'Tour de France'. They actually rebroadcast it so we get six hours straight if you want to watch it over. I imagine OLN includes some of the fluff to try and attract more viewers-the sad truth is 99% of TV watchers can't tell a good ride from a bad one. Anna Hunt is foing alot better job of interviewing than Leah Garcia did I think. CBC usually does a pretty good job of covering the $100,000 round. Too bad you guys can't get the chuckwagons-I'm sure you guys would love it-makes NASCAR look pretty tame. Guys ride bulls up here because thery aren't gutsy enough to outride lol.
