The kid and I got started many years ago with a fantasy football game the local waterhole has...You pick 2 RB's, 2WR, 1 QB, 1 K---running touchdowns score 6, passing touchdowns score 3 to QB-3 to receiver, RB's or WR's over 100 yards rushing or receiving scores another 3 points--QB's passing over 200 picks up 3.....
We usually have around 20 teams broke up into the AFC and NFC which play each other thruout the year- using the points scored by your drafted players.....We've done fairly well- winning it one year, and getting in the playoffs several years....
Anyway, yesterday came up draft day--and two hours before the draft the kid calls and says he ain't going to be able to make it, so I have to do the drafting...Or as I told him, you need the old man to do the heavy work again eh  
Don't think I did too bad as I drew an ace right up to earn first pick in the first round--took LT...
Ended up with a fair team, I think-- 8 weeks from now will tell much more...
QB--Bulger STL (Manning went in the first round, which is unordinary for a QB, since good running backs are usually most desired to rack up the points)
RB- Tomlinson SD, McGahee BAL
WR Branch SEA, Javon Walker, DEN
K- Rackers ARI
The only pick I really wanted to sneak in and get- but someone beat me to, was the Bears kicker Robbie Gould...Good kicker and from what I've been seeing I think Da Bears may be kicking lots of field goal attempts as it doesn't appear they can get it across the goal line any other way

I set one up on yahoo for 12 teams...league id is(ID# 687259 ) and password is cattle........go to yahoo fantasy football 07..then click on jion excisting leage....type in league name and password.....its a live draft.....?I took the latest drafting time they had which was 10am wed pst...Sorry but they only seemed to have morning draft times.....but you can list your players if your not there and yahoo will pick the top player on your list .....its call auto draft...
You may need to create a yahoo account .....it is free an simple so no worries if you do....i mostly defaulted the league settings and if you want any changes i can try and accomadate.....we need 12 by tuesday night if less i will change it..

| If we do not get a few more folks to sign up I can post pone our draft one week......That way we lose just one week of the season but maybe gain more players,..any thoughts on that?.or you guys wanna just go ahead as we are?

You could get some unemployed "Cowboy" from Arizona to do it.
