A couple of my friend's were at Kime's last spring night calveing and feeding.Small world eh.
Thank's for the tour.
Don't the have a Cattlemen's Ball down there this time of year also?
A few years back on my way to Denver it was advertised on the radio.

It is held in June, at a different ranch each year. I've only been to one of those events, and that was in 2001 when it was at the Thacher Cattle Company east of Valentine. It was a fun time, and the proceeds go to the American Heart Association.

| Thanks for the pictures. I found the grass fat steers interesting. They are well conditioned for grass cattle (or they are to me). Do you know their age?

I think they were all born after the first of May in 2006, so will be right at two years of age when they are harvested in May or June of 2008.

| Sure was good to see alot of familiar faces...Buzz & Shirley kime have been friends of our for years, and to see Orville Beyea out and about is a wonderful thing, since his wife just passed away...Looks like you did have a great day seeing folks and them great sandhills cattle..Thanks
