These were shot by rifles. The 404 one was shot by a 71-year old man with an arrow. The 424 was shot with a rifle. (I don't have pictures of the 404 and 424 elk yet, but they made Boone and Crockett and some other record book they were talking about, but I don't remember the name.)
The ranch is located 20 miles straight north of Leiter, Wy. 4 miles from the Mt. border. (in the boonies!)
In fact the outfitter hunts both Mt. and Wy.
Leiter is on hwy 14-16 north out of Gillette, Wy.

Awesome looking pictures! My teenager would love to go elk hunting. He's been sneaking around some choppy Sandhills, as well as hiding out in his deer blind, hoping to get another big deer with his bow like last year.
