That looks like it hurt like heck. You were lucky it wasn't worst.
Take care and get well soon.

| Sorry to hear about your accident. It looks like that will be a bit of an inconvenience for a time. Hope you can still get your calves rounded up and shipped off. Prayers to the Great Physician who heals all our "diseases" are going up for you! A good reminder that even the simple, everyday jobs can be dangerous. Take care!

I can't beleive you had the presence of mind to whip out your camera and take a picture of it... with one hand no doubt!
My sister in law lost the first bone of her right index finger to a wool machine. When she yanked back her hand at the first hint of it being trapped she exclaimed " Man that was close" and then she saw her finger missing the end of the digit. It was a disappointing surprise to say the least.
It healed well but because she held it up toward her body while it was healing to offset the throbbing when she held it low, she developed a frozen shoulder that took about 2 years to recover from. Snowball affect.
I know that won't happen to you. Happy healing!

| As I hit the submit button I remembered where I'd heard that. A friend of mine that ropes got one of her fingers yanked off in a ropin incident. She got the lil prosthetic thing so she could still use the keyboard without a problem......

| Hi There Soap! You well know that I am a squeamish lady. You'll not catch me putting a worm on a hook. I hate stepping in a pile of doo doo ESPECIALLY in heels! However, my curiosity won out. Oh my gosh it looks just dreadful, but after visiting last night I know you are in fine spirits. You have always handled negative situations with wit, determination and a positive attitude. I am glad for the many positives that you pointed out to me. It will take awhile to heal, but life is just exciting with 9 fingers as with 10! Luv Ya!
