Okay folks, you asked for it. The last I checked, the vote was 17 in favor of seeing the pictures and 6 against. The bad pictures are number 4 and number 5 so you can still turn back now. Here goes.

Soapweed's waterloo

Innocent when in the down position

A killer when coming up

Bad day on the Soapweed outfit

Hopefully time heals all wounds

My welder son is going to install a shield to prevent this from happening again.

The way it looks today

Fortunately it is a long way from the heart.

Sorry for you but be happy it was not worse

Now you resemble all the old guys I know! Pretty much all of them are missing a part somewhere.

Best thoughts to you.

Regards

BC

Everyone gets an ouwee oncew in a while but yours sounds more than just a little painful. Just stay away form the heavy meds and heal up. Good luck with the calf shipping. Very Happy

You shoulda heard Jan holler when I called her in here. Mild to what Peach had to say, Ill bet. I got all of the same finger on the other hand. It is probably hurting more now than when It happened. Thank God it is no worse.

Ouch! That looks like she hurt plenty bad! I though I had it bad squashing my finger in a hydrant and temporarily losing my nail. But losin' part of your finger! Thoughts and prayers with you. Hope you get well soon. You may have to revert to hunt n' peck typing! Very Happy

I'm guessing by the fact there were pictures taken, that it didin't hurt right away, am I wrong?

Nice pictures.

[edit]
just read the SMI, it's funny how things like that don't have pain. I just did a chain saw safety class yesterday, the instructor said when people cut their thigh from an idiling chian, sometimes you don't even know it until you start feeling your boot get wet from the blood. Fortunately the one time I had a kickback go into my leg while cutting brush I was wearing chaps, and they worked. The polyester wound up in the chain/sprocket and stopped the blade.

Hope the finger heals well.
