| Well, even at our tiny little sale here in central colorado, the killer buyers show up every horse sale. I'd a figured sure enough a killer would take her. Only thing I could say if she's looking or acting rough, out a bullet in her and then bite the bullet of paying to have her buried. It ain't any fun. Sold two ponies at killer price last month and also has to shoot one that broke his leg. Wasn't any fun but no one would've bought him at the sale.

| The auction barn we usually sell our calves at records a video of every sale they have. That way there is no misunderstanding or arguement.

Around here if you send a problem to auction you pray someone buys it so you don't have to go back to the sale barn and haul them back home. If the horse was identified as dangerous and the killer trucks were full (if there was more then one kill buy there) feel lucky you did not have to have it hauled home. Atleast someone was willing to pay the dollar to feed her until she could move on down the road to Mexico.
Did your friend by chance hear what she thought the horse sold for, it should be recorded?
We have a couple of horse only auction barns around, I kinda wonder how long they will be able to stay in business, they're not getting much commission on $1 to $40 horses.

My friend went up and asked if she had sold, because if she didn't she was going to haul her back. She was told that she brought $1200.00
We were surprised too.
She was riding her horse around, so she didn't see the auction.
It is getting more and more interesting.
Friend called down there this morning to try to find out what was going on. She was told that the horse is still there because they couldn't get a bid on her and a fee of $10.00 a day was being charged for her care. First I had heard of that, it has been 2 weeks since the sale. They had my address and phone number.
I called and was told that she was sold to someone and was gone. I'm not about to drive 4 hours to go pick up a horse that might or might not be mine. That 1200# tells me that is not my horse.
This is getting crazy.

| Killers here were bringing about $.25 a pound just a month ago ($200-$300)...Even my 950 lb crippled stud brought $130 (and the buyers don't like studs and heavily discount them)...

Called the Brand Inspectors office down there. Got one heading over there right now to see if it is my horse or not.
Told the inspector about the conflicting stories. Also told her how tall and how much we thought the horse was, so the (blank) that runs the place doesn't sit there and try to pawn a different horse off on us.
Inspector was rather surprised that she didn't sell and kept asking if I had put a reserve on her or had someone there who would say no sale. No I didn't.
Should have sent the inspector the pictures I have of her.
Just got the call from the inspector as I was typing this. the mare is gone and was classified as "no value" and they got someone to take her.
That Parker is a crook and a liar and that is my opinion.
