I went there and read it. You needed to post the whole story, not just the first part. I was going to until I read the very bottom, of which I just posted.
First, Sarah is running for VP, not president. Why are you giving her so much power? Second, it looks like this is the only dirt they can dig up on Palin?

I was just finding more things to convince everyone that Schweitzer is evil. He has soooooo many secrets and he keeps his henchmen in line by bullying. The Billings Gazoo would never print anything about Schweitzer that wouldn't help him. So, someone has to be the carrier of the truth.
I don't condone relatives doing the job I should be doing - especially if taxpayers pay my wage. There, you happy OT?

Hanta you need to look at the copyright laws and all the exceptions for using articles or portions of publications-- which include about 30 instances including for educational purposes , group discussions, book reviews, etc. etc. etc. as long as you give credit for where it originated- and then it is not considered plagerism or copyright violation...
If not- no school kid would even be able to take a current events clipping to school- or use a newspaper or book article for reference...

I'd kind of like to have Freddie and Fannie operating under the rules that McCain and other Republicans asked for a few years ago. Looks like they preticted what would happen pretty accurately, doesn't it? What was Obama's stand then? |
The thing is- they are operating under those rules...The legislation was withdrawn when Fannie and Freddie consensually agreed to change from Title 33 reporting to Title 34 which is the same rules banks follow...
But you still have to have somebody looking at those reports- or all the reporting rules in the country are worthless... |
They agreed but OFHEO has few teeth to enforce the agreement - hense a big problem.

Congress has the power of oversight. Barney said there was nothing wrong........ He even had an inside track with his "suck buddy".....  |
What do we pay SEC regulators for? Why do we pay Banking regulators? They're supposed to do the oversight and report if their are problems....
Up to a little over a month ago I heard Cox, Paulson, Bush, and McSame all echoing to Congress and the public "The fundamentals of the economy are strong".....
You expect Congressmen to sit down and go over ever note that goes into Fannie or Freddie-- or thru Sandhusker Bank ?  |
The OFHEO warned Congress for years, they had hearing which I linked to in my articles.
OT those parts of the mortgage industry were exempt from SEC enforcement. The Treasury knew what was going on which is why they testified to Congress that it needed fixed, if they would have had the power to do it themselves they would have.
But guys seriously, OT never reads the evidence, he just goes on as if it doesnt exist... and to think that this man may own a gun.... frightening.
