Guess Alice does not think much of us over here at Ranchers. Below is a quote she made over at Cattletoday when she was asked where she has been lately! Funny thing is she has been posting 4 days here at Ranchers "hateful political board" since leaving that message. Guess someone likes to slum it then act all high and mighty behind our backs! That is not the whole story aplus. People were concerned about her and aksing where she was etc. Lots of folks.

I too get caught up in things that are not even worth arguing from time to time. If someone is not smart enough to know the difference between opinion and fact, you simply try to point out fact. They get in denial and things take off.

If you read that thread, you'll note a whole lot of folks talked about how bad it is here.

You ought to see all the pms I get. There are a lot of conservative folks who ask why I even bother to discuss things with idiots.

Then there are those over in the Mensa boards who think lib folks posting here are complete idiots.

Like you, I don't hide my identity every where I go. Some folks have different names in different boards and come clean about who they are im pms. Others don't.

Alice is alice in both boards too.

Does it really mater what she says about you, me , or anyone else on this board? How many here talk about others in pms , on messenger , in emails , and on other boards?
No I dont agree with her politics but she is right and others have said it MANY times before this place can get NASTY. Some will say get thicker skin but really too many forget there are people with feelings who cant "read" tone, syntex in the printed word.
Take time to think abot how that might come across .....CIVIL Debate is crucial for growth and understanding.

For what it's worth...

I've said nothing anywhere else that I haven't said here. AND, if one will read carefully, I named no names.

Has it ever occurred to you, A+, that I do not insist anyone agree with anything I say. And, I don't care if they disagree with it. It would be nice, however, that the disagreement come without slurs and personal attacks.

A+, your attempt to discredit or embarrass me is very much akin to what the campaigners are doing right now. If you feel you've accomplished your goal, more power to ya'!

What Boogie said is right...I also get caught up arguing something that is really not worth arguing about, and I pop off...which only fans the flames...and really turns into a great waste of time.

Alice,Hanta's idea of visiting other rooms is a great idea....you'd get a different outlook of some of the posters.Although there are a number of posters that rarely leave this room....kinda too bad but maybe its easier to be nasty to someone if you don't have too much insight into what makes them tick.

Either way I invite different points of views....put on a bullet proof vest alice and keep posting...Mairi
