At this point who caused what,is pointless....The point now should be how to fix it,and fix it right?..At this point the economy should be a joint concern, the best minds be them dem's,repub's,or independent...The end goal is much more important then which party comes up with the answer..This continual crap about who did or did not do things is just useless right now.. This is so far past the blame game that it is sick to see smart people looking to blame rather then fix the problem.

Why dont you people here put up Ideas of what would fix this proplem and a time frame....Who cares if either Obama or McCain get in the problem is still there....What is the answer ??

If you don't determine the cause of something, chances are you can't really fix it. You have to remove those problems, otherwise, it just comes back.

I'd say that the guy who saw it coming obviously has a better grip on the situation and has a better chance of fixing it. They guy in denial will just do it again.

I'm going to assume you're talking about the financial crunch going on as you don't state a subject.

I'm not sure you can lay blame due to the fact that there are SO many guilty....it would be easier to name who was not to blame as the list would be shorter!

Well don't count on the Government to fix it..There record is not good:

Not looking good for that bailout plan..... true story.

Back in 1990, the Government seized the Mustang Ranch brothel in Nevada for tax evasion and tried to run it.

They failed and it closed.

Now we are trusting the economy of our country to a pack of nit-wits who couldn't make money running a whorehouse and selling booze?

PUHLEEEEEEEEZE!!!!!!

This is the start of a very good thread, with good intention.

I don't have the answers to all of our problems. There is much more than just economical issues.

The drug issues hit me very hard and I had first hand experience. Even tho there is help available for young children in these families, the children are not getting the help they need.

Can that inventory actually become depleted, or do you just tend to make more room in warehouse? Shocked

I disagree. I think who caused this and how are important matters that need to be investigated. If we don't know or we cover up how/why it happened, it will happen again. People who broke the law need to go to jail.

European governments are buying into major banks in their countries. Tho Paulson originally said he wouldn't support that idea, it seems to be the latest one floating around. No one is going to "fix" the economy in the next few weeks or months. I think Obama is going to lay out an economic program soon.

I care who is elected. There's a world of difference in a Democratic view and a Republican view. One supports the working man, the middle class. The other supports the wealthy and big business. This country will go on. What happens now will make a difference in the future of my children and grandchildren. Yours, too, and you should look past the end of your nose and vote accordingly.
