When Sen. John McCain graduated from the Naval Academy in the year 1958, President Dwight D. Eisenhower was the commencement speaker(probably the majority of you weren't even born yet Wink ).

McCain graduated 894th out of a class of 899 Shocked - the son of an Admiral, and who's father was an Admiral (they must have really been proud of his class ranking Wink Laughing )

Former National Security Advisor under Reagan (and at one time convicted Iran-Contra Affair felon ) Admiral John Poindexter graduated number one in the class...

Now my question to all you McCain folks- vision included-- who were the 5 guys dumber than McCain in that class- and what became of them Say what?

McCain goofed off a lot but got his act together in the last 2 years at the academy. He wasnt dumb, he was like a lot of kids his age.

Einstein flunked out of school. Ted Kennedy was kicked out of college for cheating. Gore and Kerry got worse grades than GWB.

By the way, Iran-Contra was good policy and saved lives and kept pro-Sandinista communist sympathizers from getting their way in Nicaragua. It also bucked up our relations with moderate Iranians who opposed the regime of the Mullah's .... that Carter deliberately aided to get into power.

I have read about half a dozen books on the subject and I even personally sat down with one of the CIA agent's involved and talked with him and his wife for an hour.

OT, let me know when you think you are ready to discuss it, but I am under no illusion that the facts matter to you one iota, but other people who are rational may enjoy the conversation.

You're the know it all, vision- find out who is dumber than John McCain- and what became of them...

Surely a college kid with unlimited resources at hand who thinks he knows more than everyone else could find that....

I never claimed to know more than everyone else, I just claim to know more than you. If you think that translates to me knowing more than everyone else then I must say that you have one hell of a high opinion of yourself.

The record of Academy graduates is likely public record. Do an FOIA request to the Academy and find out.

I graduated 8th out of a class of 11 - but my ACT score put me in the top 8% nationwide. Your point is?

I just thought it would be interesting to know who was dumber then McCain- and what they were doing now- what did they accomplish in life Say what? Were they golddiggers and philanderers too, and found a rich heiress to promote their careers Say what? Or did they succeed on their own Say what?

After you see some of the decisions McCain makes- and how much of a loose cannon he is- these other 5 guys must really be some flakes.. Rolling Eyes Shocked Wink

His point is he didn't ask about YOU!!!!!


8 out of 11.....hmmmmm..that's about the same level as McCain did, so if I were you.....I'd hush up.

Is that why you became a banker? 8th out of a class of 11????
