I'm looking for a good conservative blog site. Erick, at RedState, has simply thrown in the towel on the McCain/Palin ticket. Not that they had much traffic anyway, but now he's only wanting diaries on local races or apparently smear and fear posts. So, would someone, please, post a link to a site that gets good traffic and hosts well written diaries. Thanks.

In listening to several of the TV news channels last night before the game- it sounds like most Repub pundits have too...Even FOX- and Lou Dobbs who has no great love for Obama- said that McCain is lost- wandering in the wilderness....

Try some of the Mensa blogs. There is very good fodder on there for you.

Truthfully, I'm finding it difficult to believe that this country will really elect a black man President. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm not counting any chickens until the votes are counted and certified.

Yep- that was what I thought too-- but some of the pollsters have studied their previous polls and in the polling results and exit polling they've been comparing to the primary election results they are finding a reverse Bradley effect- especially in the south- where folks won't openly admit they're voting for or did vote for a black man- but did... Shocked
They don't know how this will play into the election because its the first time they've seen it....

I don't find it difficult at all...I just find it difficult to believe they would even think about electing THIS black man.

Kola, "Well,I'm in the South and I've already voted....and voted for Obama."

Big surprise there. It only makes sense that a Socialist with no standards would vote for a Socialist with no ethics. Birds of a feather....
