No,whats crazy is you given your sons BC away to a little league organization.What the hell do they need it for....If people have to cheat that much then what does that say about the parents invovled....If we cant even trust little league anymore,then there is no saving us from ourselfs....

Well, Aptly Named One, as a father to 2 girls who have played on 2 State Champion softball teams, (and may well win a third title next weekend!), BC's are provided to officials may ensure that the girls are, indeed, 14 and under, or 16 and under, or 18 and under, on January 1 of the current year. This is done so some 20 year old college ringer can't slip in and pitch in one tournament for a team and help them win.

Several weeks ago we played in a tourney against a team where the smallest player was 5'6" and weighed around 150. Our coach, upon looking at these girls on the opposing team asked me if I had any suggestions.....I told him to demand DNA testing to prove they were indeed female! But it didn't matter...we kicked their hind ends anyway.

The ASA has rules in place and follows and enforces them....too bad the tards in the government can't do the same concerning presidential candidates.........

Like I said ,it is to bad parents/coaches of kids cheat so bad,that we need bc's in minor sports.....It is a shame really..Winning has now become more important then respecting the game....

Barry must not have played Little League baseball. Very Happy

It is a shame, but people been cheating at sports since they began. Little League World Series has to be careful especially with other countries being invited.

Did you even bother to listen to what she said probably not. Just like most Palin Haters you are just spouting off. She said she was looking out for Alaska and she felt that over the past few months what was happening to the Office of the Governor of Alaska was unfair to Alaskans. When you have to spend 80% of your time defending the governor against lawsuits that are only filed to discredit her and nasty stupid stories about her and her family what else is really getting done in the office. She said these lawsuits, that are being filed by mindless Democrats and are being tossed out because they are garbage and should never have been filed (my words not hers), are costing the State of Alaska millions and she sees that as a waste of tax payer money. Not that a Democrat would care, they would probably see it as a make work project and have applied for stimulus money to fund them. Knowing the Federal Democratic lead farce of a government they will probably get it too just like all the rest of their pork filled projects.

By stepping aside she is hoping the idiots (again my words) that are harassing her will stop wasting tax payer money and let the Alaskan government get on with the business of building a strong State.

If she were to stay then you would bash her for wasting tax payers money by not stepping aside and stopping the lawsuits from eating up even more tax payer money and TIME. Rolling Eyes

I hate to see her go as it seems she is the only damn politician that really cares about her State more than her own power. To bad there weren't more like her, the US and as far as that goes the world would be a better place if there was.

And if you had bothered to listen to her and not the hate filled media I think you would have seen that she has plans she is just not quite ready to say what they are. But you can bet as in her words "It will not be politics as usual". Wink
