I swear that Russian goalie looked relieved when they pulled him. Can't say as I blame him. That was quite an onslaught.

hey there northern, your fellow countrymen played a great game last night, be proud. it would be great if USA and Canada played for gold, men as well as the women, as long as the USA wins on both those match ups! that would make it a clean sweep, first the juniors, then the women and to complete it, the men Cool ........are your ears turning red yet?!? Good luck to all our neighbors to the north. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Shawn

Yes they do have to win one more, as does Canada. Like I said I would love to see canada and the usa in the gold game. since we beat em once already it would be fun to see a rematch Razz Shawn

Russia seems to be a little upset today.

Quote:

“The Red Machine Runs into a Maple Tree,”

“We all know Canada has problems with the future lines drawn on Arctic maps and we all know Canada lives in the shadow of its larger neighbour to the south,” he writes about something we don’t all know.

Had he left it there, we might have shrugged it off. But then it gets personal.

“The abject cruelty shown by Canadian soldiers in international conflicts is scantily referred to, as indeed is the utter incapacity of this county to host a major international event, due to its inferiority complex, born of a trauma being the skinny and weakling bro to a beefy United States and a colonial outpost to the United Kingdom, whose Queen smiles happily from Canadian postage stamps.”

Wow.

“Maybe it is this which makes the Canadians so … retentive, or cowardly.”
