I finally got the chance to play around with the photobucket and thought I would share what I found on my camera. The first ones are moving cows home from summer pasture.

The girls enjoying the last of the horseable weather. One of the last times they got to ride Bay.

The weather changed fast

One of my daughters scetches

A few bulls a week after arriving home from their high forage feed efficiency test.

Some more bulls in the snow, mud, and the fog

Your helpers don't require expensive tack and create salable art. Cattle look good, you have a big ditch to trail down and your bulls came home in good shape. Can't get much better than that. Smile

I wanted to get up there and check out your cows SMN herf but not sure I'm going to make it. Could you post some pics of some of the calves from the heifer bull you were recommending? Also some pics of the females out of the same bull or aren't you calving any of them yet?

Thanks everyone, My helpers sure have a lot of fun with their horses and I sure enjoy watching them work and learn. Their favorite daily activity is to go to the horse pen and slip halters on them and jump on their back and ride around the pen. We lost the Bay horse less than a month ago to colic and the girls miss him a lot. I didn't know how it would affect my oldest and was a little worried about her but this evening when I got in, the paper was laying on my desk with the classified ad section opened to the horses for sale section. Several ads were highlighted in yellow! Guess I am supposed to take a hint there.

I will see what I can come up with. I have quite a few on my computer. I think I was talking about the 0232 bull. I am about half done with my heifers. The 0232 daughters are pretty much as I expected. Good udders and excellent mothering ability and calve on their own.

Nice pictures, SMN Herf. Your daughters will get to be very good riders by riding bareback, and they will stay warmer to boot. Wink

One of your daughters is quite the budding young artist. That is a nice drawing.

Those black baldies kind of mess up your pretty red and white photos. Wink Thanks for showing us your pictures.
