I think it was about a year to a year and a half after 911, that Bush was being criticized for not killing or capturing osama.
We should start hearing the same crowd, start to criticize President Soetoro soon, correct?

| i guess it just means the whole american government is corrupt. i guess it's better for business to kill iraqi civilians than to actually try to solve the problem. the total rot is what will end the era of american power.

| tam i didn't say they were targetting civilians but why fight this war when they could have had bin laden? there's so much anecdotal evidence that they knew where he is/was that he must be off limits. he's got guardian angels in lots of countries just as drug lords from afghanistan, south america and mexico do. it's a commentary on the corruption in every government not just so-called developing democracies.

I guess we could listen to tabloid anecdotal evidence or find a source with credibility...
| Quote: |
In the past month alone, Defense Secretary Robert Gates said it has been "years" since the U.S. has had good intelligence on the al-Qaida leader,
Defense Secretary Gates offered little hope for a quick capture. "We don't know for a fact where Osama bin Laden is," Gates said on ABC. "If we did, we'd go get him." Asked when was the last time the U.S. had good intelligence on bin Laden, he replied: "I think it has been years."
FBI: Bin Laden 'probably' dead
The US Federal Bureau of Investigation's counter-terrorism chief, Dale Watson, says he thinks Osama bin Laden is "probably" dead.
CIA Director Leon Panetta has told Congress he asks "every day" where Bin Laden is hiding. |
so if they don't know, I doubt Obama knows,

| i would have thought that all the intelligence resources and technology that america has could have sniffed out bin laden and i suspect it probably did long ago. he's still alive because powerful people are protecting him. blackwater probably could have disposed of him in a fairly messy way.

The guy is a huge remote area with 1000s of places to hide surrounded by people who will protect him with their life.
