Our neighbor who has the easement over our property was caught off of it and charged with tresspassing yesterday.

He was in our gravel pit. we have a different guy in there who has bought pit run gravel from us to do road repair in his area.
well the neighbor showed up and started demanding to know what happened to this pile of crushed gravel. Guy told him he started hauling it over to our place.
Neighbor went a little crazy and told him that it was his gravel and he paid to have it done 7 years ago.
We paid for it 12 years ago.
The hauler didn't believe him. He called my hubby who was near by.
hubby went over there, but the neighbor had already left.
a call was placed to the sheriff's department. Deputy talked to the hubby and the other guy. finally caught up to the neighbor and he claimed it was a misunderstanding.

Going to have the rest of the gravel brought over.

As much trouble as you have with your neighbor I'm glad I'm not one of them.

Disrespectful neighbors are no joke once you've lived beside them. More all the time we are getting town folk moving out to the country and many of them seem to think that the farms next door are free range for their 4 wheelers and horses . . .

I wonder how they reacted when someone walked across their back yard when they still lived in town . . .

Well he flagged down the hubby.
Told him that yes he took that pile of gravel that was our uncles. Finally admitted to it.
Cousin had stopped him the day before and told the neighbor to go talk to the uncle about that gravel. It is about $8,000 worth.

Well hubby and neighbor got quite a bit settled verbally, but I told hubby to not believe a word he said because he will deny it later.
Going to have a sit down and get the easement admended to an agri easement only.
Then his hunters would have to ask permission from us to cross our property.

We got him. Tresspassing and theift.

He claimed he couldn't tell which was north and which was south. Rolling Eyes

Got a call from our neighbor asking when the county is bringing in the rock crusher. He is going to replace our uncles gravel.
No idea yet they are super busy fixing roads that got washed out this spring.

Claims his hunters are not the ones driving all over our place. Will find out this fall for sure who is doing it. Wink

We live in a Rural Community - The Post Office was 2 doors down - - Everyday a lady would come to check her mail "Parking In-front of our house" - - where she clean-out her Ash-tray and car garbage on the street in front of our House. I asked her several times to stop.

One day as she was checking mail I Dumped Three Days of our Garbage and DOG POO in her car and stood outside with my camera to Photograph her if she dumped it on the street - she cussed me good but never dumped again
