Gill will turn KU around, but will not be as great as you think...KU is a round ball school and they will devote every dime to Basketball, football is an after thought.

how can you say KSU is inferior to NU?? we have a more recent Big 12 title, have beat Texas more often than NU, and are not running away like a bunch of chicken shits.

Who went to a bowl game last December/January and who got to stay home? So you beat Texas. What did it get you? Is K State ranked in the top 10 pre-season this year? You talk about how Nebraska lives in the past, now who's living in the past? I don't expect the Big 10 to be a cakewalk, but it won't be near as slanted towards one team like the Big 12 has become. Turner will do things at KU that Snyder & Co. have only dreamed about.

What about the bet?

NU is NOT top ten caliber...top 15 possibly, top 20 for sure, but they will be falling out of the top ten. I will go look at thier schedule and ponder it...let you know who will beat them this year...and YES, I am picking my Cats to whip the fuskers this year.

Only reason I can think of. Can't be money as Neb. sells out every game as does all the schools that are road games.


Nebraska stands to nearly double income from the revenue sharing of the Big 10. We're leaving because we got a better offer and there's no reason to stay.

Jiggsy, you couldn't beat a Callahan coached NU team. KU hung 76 on us, Mizzou trounced us, OU the same - and KSU got thumped by Callahan. THAT is a pretty good indication that you are inferior to NU. Laughing

Maybe we should send Snyder a tin cup to use so he can carry the coins that Texas allows K State to earn from the Big 12 revenue???

BTW, Jiggsy, Turner and KU WILL kick the Mildcat's azz this fall.......karma rears it's ugly head....the Mildcats go down to KU which happens to be coached by a former Husker star!!!
