First Lady Michelle Obama visited the Gettysburg Battlefield with her daughters Wednesday, according to the National Park Service. GNMP Supt. Bob Kirby reported that Obama "travelled here on her own personal time earlier today to spend private time touring the park with her children." Mrs. Obama was reportedly here for two hours, around lunch time. Kirby noted that "we respected her request for privacy and we appreciate everybody's support to help make it happen."

I am so glad Michelle took her "own personal time" (as opposed to "MY PERSONAL TIME") to visit a national historical sight and close down the whole park while doing it.

I remember reading that 68 secret service agents went to Spain with her.

Does anybody miss Laura Bush yet?
