Shocked Pretty spooky. I had a couple of brake drums on a trailer heat up, draggin bad from a ruptured air hose. It was rainy and the roads were wet, mighta kept it from overheating as bad. Whew, no real brakes, either.

One of my former employees was cutting a fender off a trailer. He had a moment of stupidity and didn't figure things out when rubber and smoke started to exude from out of the fender well.

That moment of stupidity earned him a trip in an ambulance when the tire exploded.

BE CAREFUL, and most of all, THINK.!!!!

I had one blow up in the bed of my truck a few summers ago. It was a new cooper tire, it blew the tread off of it. I knew it was hot that day, but I didn't know it was that hot. Shocked

Our round baler was parked by the house just before haying one year. The tire on the sunny side blew up. Rolling Eyes
