One more stride and she would have made it home with the win.
If she didn't get hung up in traffic she would have easily got the first place win. Still a totally fantastic mare!. I'm thankful she got through the race safe and sound, unlike Rough Sailing in an earlier race today.

Today when I was coming home from inspecting calves- I stopped at the local water hole to cash a check- and the whole crowd there was taking up a collection to make a mass bet on her on the Video betting-- but with 8-5 odds- I thankfully thought there were better investments.....

Quite a filly tho...

I had the boys believing Kelly Sutherland bought her for a left hand wheeler cause she lost. I don't think even 'The King' could afford her lol.

I guess I don't think she is homely. Did you hear where they said
her stride was a foot longer than Secretariats Shocked and that's how she
can come from behind so effectively?

They said she likes it there, I guess. (Remember, Secretariat
ran the same kind of race). Then when asked she blows
their doors off. Before this last race, the jockey said (and it may have
been in one of the links jiggerboss posted) that he never felt like
she was at top speed; that she had more to give if he needed it.
I do think he made a mistake this last race, but no one is perfect.
She was soooooo behind and then went through the pack instead
of going around as usual. Anyhow, that's how it looked to me,
but I'm just a person looking on, I have no idea what all went on,
I'm sure. She's an exciting, awesome horse.
