Dad's old cow dog met an untimely end yesterday morning. I live about a mile from his house and ole Ty spent a good deal of his time visiting over here, I think he really enjoyed the kids. He'd been getting slower and slower the last few years since he lost his leg, but he was still a valued family member and didn't deserve the fate he met. He had left our house early in the morning to head back to Dad's, possibly because he heard the commotion in the cows over that way. The wolves got him less than 200 yds from dad's house. We'll miss him for sure.

I am so very sorry too Silver, that is just awful . I am sure he is running and playing in heaven, and yes I do believe good dogs go to heaven .

Soo sorry to hear that..... We lost our dog this fall.... Just don't seem to want to replace him either......
