Choice cutout really running off. Some is the border, but I think a lot to do with an annual event.

On another forum, I have been stating we will see a decline in weights, finish and quality and a subsequent rise in prices. I think SH has actually mentioned Aril as being a consistently great time to market fats. Check this link. Compare this years pattern with 5 year averages,

Won't know final results for a few months. I was going to talk to the extension agent. There's one hell of a discount for fat right now. Two weeks ago I had a steer grade Prime 4. The discount for YG4 was severe enough that I would have gotten more for a select 1. My point to him is to not overfeed these calves for sure,

Probably won't find out for sure for 2-3 months,
