| Nope, no more fertilizer until next fall. We tried the commercial fertilizer last summer after the first cuttin, I know it was because of lack of rain, but our second cuttin was only 1 bale per acre. With the yeilds we get doin it this way,(normal rainfall) I can't see why change, might increase yeilds some, but at what cost? Fertilizer aint cheap these days and the chicken litter seems to be doin a good job for us.

| Put it on the last of October first of November, normally that's when we start gettin rain. 400 lbs per acre. Mr Lilly has an uncle that has two chicken houses, and then a business of spreadin the litter for all the other houses in the area too. Most times he just gives us the litter, but we'll pay for slingin it, he has a couple employee's that drive his litter trucks, and he hasta pay them.

| Around here we use two ton per acre or 4000 pounds. We have to add N after a few months though. with rain the N won't last long.
