But please set people straight. Those guys were SHEEPHERDERS,
not cowboys.

sheepherders huh..lol..wonder if thats what the firechief in Mesa AZ called himself after getting caught with his pants down in the neighbors barn a few months back holding down one of thier sheep?...hhmm...wonder if i can talk about that here?...If not...I appologize. but i do agree, sheepherders ARE different than cowboys.

i thought they filmed that movie in beaverhead county montana...i thought i remembered seeing the beaverhead county high school in it, and i swear i saw their mascot, the beaver, runnin around in front of the bleachers....wow..im goin to hell for that. lol Laughing Embarassed

This is kinda funny.......I'd heard about Brokeback Mountain, from readin about it here on ranchers....before I ever saw the commercial on TV for it. One evenin' I"m in the kitchen cookin supper, when I hear...."Come here, come here!!!!" Mr Lilly was sittin here watchin TV, and he's always keepin an eye peeled for new western's. That's the kinda movies I like...westerns...LOL
Well he'd just seen a small portion of the trailer, and said, "A new western!!!! Looks like it might be a good one!!!" I asked, "Do you know what it's about?" He said , "NO???" I proceeded to tell him it was a story of Two gay cowboys......he said, "No Way??!!!" I said, "Yeap, and I ain't goin to see it!!!"
