Link below.

"U.S. CASUALTIES: As of Tuesday, April 77, 2,360 U.S. service members (including 12 Idahoans) have died since the war in Iraq began in March 2003: 1,850 in combat and 510 from non-combat related incidents and accidents. Injured service members total 17,549. In the last week, 22 U.S. soldiers died.

Since President George W. Bush declared "mission accomplished" aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln on May 1, 2003, 2,214 soldiers have died."

What did these young Americans die for? Not for a cheap supply of gasoline. Prices here are almost $3 a gallon. Not for democracy. The Iraqi "government" won't put their ethnic and religious differences aside to form a united front. Not for the security of our country. The debt we're incurring every day in Iraq is being bought by countries that are not necessarily our friends. Our Army is having a problem recruiting new soldiers.

NEVER FORGET 9/11

Been listening to Laura Ingraham (sp?) Show today while harrowing, listening to transcripts of flt 93. What courageous people. Had to stop a few times because I couldn't see through my tears. That's why we're over there, DIS. They came here to destroy us, but they underestimated our patriotism and love for our country so they didn't get the White House. I'm glad we're fighting the war on their turf. Maybe you should try to remember 9/11 DIS and never forget it

I remember 9/11 very clearly. I remember one of the first things George W. Bush asked his intelligence officials was "Did Saddam do this?" They said "no". I supported the invasion of Afghanistan where 9/11 was planned and launched. But 9/11 has nothing to do with the war in Iraq.

""We have no evidence that Saddam Hussein was involved with the September 11th" attacks," Bush said in a brief encounter with reporters after a meeting with members of Congress. Bush added, "There's no question that Saddam Hussein had al-Qaeda ties."

There are many questions about Saddam Hussein's ties with al-Qaeda. But we know that our president doesn't let a little thing like the truth stand in the way of a good war, don't we? Rolling Eyes

Maybe she's just wanting to be caught? So she's starting to give out hints? Under too much pressure? Could that be it?

I bet she's under a tremendous amount of pressure being an 'anonymous coward'. Or whatever it was that sdsteve called dis, me and...I won't name the other one out of respect.

Going around all the time scared that someone will recognize you takes a toll. I'm not looking for pity, but it's pretty tough being a nameless, placeless, anonymous coward. Sad

I bet dis feels the same way. She wants to come clean, just can't quite make herself go through with it. I bet that's it. Laughing

No comment, dis? Very Happy

I'm not sure if mp was talking about the link to the Boise paper or the gas prices being a clue to disagreeable's location. Because neither one of them are actual clues. She posts links to outlandish stuff from newspapers all over.

And as far as the gas prices go...

....that was just a....well, I won't call it a lie. Even though that's her favorite word. Maybe smokescreen? Gas around there isn't close to $3 a gallon. Or not what I consider close. Well under $3, in fact. I looked this morning. Very Happy

But I'm not going to tell everybody the exact gas price. That might be giving her away. That wouldn't be right. I'll let her come out in her own time. I'm just going to cheer her on. Offer her encouragement. Like this post. Does that work for you, dis? Laughing

What part of the Gorge are you from, floyd? I'm often in that area - my dogs in my avatar are actually on a cliff looking out on the Columbia River. Someday, I hope to move to The Dalles.
