Here's the replacement -I hope-for my little bay mare we lost on the ice this winter. I think she's a pretty sweet looking young mare-I raised her Mom too and she's been a good old cow horse when she isn't raising colts. In fact that's the old girl standing beside her.

Nice filly from what I can see from the pic.
Gosh, short pasterns. Could it be a quarter horse with nice whithers?
What breed, how old and how tall is she?
Cant buy a QH with nice whithers around here anymore<sad>
Nice pick of you remuda. Glad there was no quads in the background<wink>
LOL I dont like dogs either. They put good cow horses out of work!

Roper we don't breed a mare unless she's a proven cow horse-then we'll breed her every second year so we can ride the gut off her. That filly is pretty much straight quartyer horse-her mother is a Leo bred mare and her Dad went back to Grey Badger and Hard Twist I think. All those horses in that p[ic are home grown but the draft mares and the one dun in the back.

Well put together filly she looks like she has a good mind as well. But with nice blood lines like that for sure you have a good mount.

Here's Ty taking on her second ride going to gather cows at the neighbors-she's a bit bucky but a few wet blankets will take care of that.
