Harry Reid was taking money from Indian tribes before Abramoff became their lobbyist. He said he did nothing wrong and refused to give the money back. Why should he? It's not wrong to take political contributions as long as it's done within the law.
I've yet to see a Democrat named as a subject of the offical Abramoff investigation. Maybe there will be; but right now, the Abramoff scandal is a Republican one. It's a desparate move on your part to claim otherwise. So far, Tom Delay has resigned, Duke Cunningham is in jail, Ney and Burns are on the hot seat. Frist is under investigation by the SEC. You can't blame the Dems for these investigations. This culture of corruption established by the Republican Party in power has finally caught up with them.
