Dis-- You may be surprised at why GW's popularity has waned in Montana...I saw some state results a short time ago- and as I remember them he still had like 55% support on foreign relations and the handling of Iraq....The war was still being supported....

He was also supported on his overall handling of National Security and faith in protecting the public...

Where he had really slipped was on the economy- his staunch corporate backing for outsourcing of so many jobs, occupations, and business's- and the free trade agreements....

He was also taking a big hit for his corporate support of allowing in illegal aliens- and his refusal to stop the alien onslaught....

And our buddy Conrad is making the whole Montana Republican Party look like a bunch of crooks........His "this money did not influence me" will go down with "I am not a crook" and "I did not have sex with that woman" and "the definition of is" as reknown statements... Rolling Eyes

Thanks for the local update, Oldtimer. I've been considering where to send my political contributions. I am seriously thinking about sending Burns some $$, along with Katherine Harris in FL. Both of those seats look like a possible pick up for Dems. Very Happy
