| Haven't you noticed some folks talking about the "North American" beef industry? They've taken the first bite.

| I'd like commend R=Calf and my fellow ranchers and livestock producers for competively fighting for the ideals and rights of the livestock producers of the USA. No other industry has fought as hard to preserve the individualism of our own nation. Indeed most all of the other industry has enriched their ceo's and stockholders by firing Americans and buying into the cheaper import business. The ocean is full of foreign interests anchored off shore and flooding our country with cheap inferior quality products marketed through our greedy corporate web. And we can't even label our product in order that they can deliberately blend it in with that cheap stuff and market it as our own. I'm damn glad R-calf is bitching about it.

What part do the couple hundred million US consumers who seem quite happy to buy this product play in all of this?

| Those millions of people are the innocent little lambs that are inadvertanly driving the USA to economic destruction. No matter what all the economkic gerues say our economy can't survive the twin deficits. Every country in the world will sell to us, but nobody will buy from us. The cattle industry is a prime example of that. I'm not blaming the Canadians or Mexicans because they are better than the others. But look in order to keep going under these circumstances our govt. has to print money like mad and keep inflation going. This is a recepie for disaster.

| If our system fails what happens next? Communism? Fascism? We already have an uncontrolable number of immigrants moving into the country and living off our government, so the next step seems to me like let the government control everything and every one. Is this the good old USA we have built and love?

Is it not just a wee bit hypocritical that it is alright for American multi-nationals to go out and conquer the world such as Wal-Mart, McDonalds, KFC, ESSO, Ford, GE, Exxon, GM, Pepsico, Nestle, Phillips but totally unacceptable for companies from other countries to sell into the US?
Maybe we should stop ALL TRADE and international commerce. Good luck in that, especially convincing the few hundred million Americans that they should pay more for their goods!

But, the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world-government. It is then that all peoples of the world will plead to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. Tam, "If you had stayed in school you would have learned that the US was built on the adventurous nature of many immigrants and their MONEY."
Actually, the reason most immigrants came here is because they had no money. They didn't come here because they were adventerous, they immigrated because they didn't have a pot to pee in back in Europe.
They were welcomed here (unless you were Irish or Chinese) because we had a nation to build - lots of land to fill. Well, we've built it now and all the homestead land is gone. I think we can hang out a sign now that says, "Positon filled".
