This is a pretty cool website if you like to see some knuckles chucked. It's pretty cool to look up guys I know on there and see how they did. The archives are sweet too.

NR,

do you know mmuch about the negro hockey leagues? I understand there is some recent writing about their contribution to the sport. The cynic in me wonders about revisionist history, but I am ignorant about the ddevelopment of the sport.

I've never heard of them-I can't see why they'd of had them because I've never heard of any hockey league being segregated. I'm sure there was a negro player in the fairly early days of the NHL but his name escapes me right now. Willie McGee?

McRee, I think.

The Black Hockey league is credited with the "Slapshot" also.

Willie O'Ree had a cup of coffee with the Boston Bruins in 57-58 and then again in 60-61.
