I was surprised to see the last one. A palpation cage would make life a lot easier and safer for the folks in those last 2 photo's.

As short, as I am, it is better for me to palpate like this. I don't care for the rear gate, as it would not keep em off me.

We have ordered a new chute, and I did not get it with a cage...cause I would still have to have a milk crate...but it does have a stout rear door to it.. Smile

That chute aint mine....cow aint mine either. Friend asked if I'd palpate her for them....and I said I would not even dreaming they'd not have a palpation gate on their chute. That cow was a kicker big time...and I wasn't gonna stand behind her.....So the easiest way was over the top....least likely place that I'd get my arm broke or mashed. Worked out...and we had a few laughs over it.

If it'd been up to me....cow woulda went to the salebarn just cuz of the way she acts.

I think we need the other side of this Link:

I have always Admired Seeig a Gal that can come up out of a Crowding Alley covered in Sh*t and can be all dolled-up for Town & Dancing in a 1/2 hour

When do we get to see them Strut Their Stuff
