Ten-year-old baldy cow with twin baldy heifer calves

Quite proud of her achievement

Three bucket babies begging breakfast

Most colorful calf on the place, out of a cow I bought several years ago

My little gate-opening buddy

Either I'm leaning or the windmill is, or maybe it's just the photographer. Wink

Going to heck in a hand basket

The hand basket is painted red.

Sunflower in the spring

Showing off our new Sparky-made calf puller

Built heck for stout

Quarter inch cable on a hand crank winch

It swivels, also.

New addition

And another

Lickin' lady Seven Eighty

At least you have some semblance of bare ground.

With the stoutness of that puller I gather you are anticipating the "Maine Event" next spring. Wink Razz

Thanks Soapweed.

I doubt that Soapweed will need that puller all that much for the Maine X calves. I ran a fullblood Maine Anjou bull ( the red and white kind) with 35 Angus cows for 6 years and I pulled 1 calf in that time. I also run some black Simmental bulls and don't seem to pull many calves out of them either. Two weeks to calving, so shouldn't get too cocky yet!
