Better watch it when Corso picks a team. He's ALWAYS wrong.
He's a pencil salesman............................
Herbstreit is not much better.

Still better than getting picked by Beano Cook.

Not much consolation to that.

anyone who looks at ACTUAL fact, rather than media fluff and BS will see that the north is Mizzou's to lose, and NU and KSU are the two that will be right in the hunt for it.
one guy I saw had NU going 11-1 for the season...come on, we all know that is Bullsh!t
nu will probably hav 2 or 3 conference losses this year, and the cupcake non con. schedule thay have is pathetic!
mizzou and Texas will definatly beat NU, KSU and Okie Litehave a good chance, and I think Iowa State will shock a LOT of people this year, but the schedule they have is murder.

Missouri is going to be good, but they are severely going to miss Washington at RB.
A KSU football fan blasting another team's "cupcacke" non-conference schedule
Gundy is going to be coaching to save his job this year. Okie St may finish 5th in the South.
I read an article the other day from the Memphis, TN paper and a sports writer there had Nebraska vs tOSU in the MNC game.
Iowa St. isn't going to shock anyone this year. They return 4 starters on defense and have OU, Texas, and TT on the schedule. In the history of the Big 12, ISU has just one win against those three and it was TT back in I think 2002. If anything, this year's ISU team reminds me of their 2006 team, could be good on offense, questionable defense, and brutual schedule.
ISU's game Thursday night against a sneaky good Northern Illinois teamwill set the tone for the entire year.

garn, I will admit that KSU fan picking on the Nu cupcake schedule is a bit foolish, but KSU schedules that way and is blasted for it...NU schedules that way, and people say "no one wants to play them..they just too good" that is two faced BS and we all know it. it is simple lazy sports writers who have no real grip on the truth.
personally I want Gundy to fail. don't like the guy at all. I always liked Okie Light...prolly cause of the ag school ties to KSU, and Barry Sanders was fun to watch.
through the Osborne years, I really liked to watch NU play ball. my favorite play was when everyone expected the tailback to get the ball, there went the full back for 40 yards...but the Nu fans just ruin it for me. to be self proclaimed greatest fans, and then act like they do is foolish.
I really think NU will not finish the season in the top 10.
I think NU will lose to Texas and Mizzou for sure, and then KSU, A&M, and Colorado are toss up games......Washington will be an interesting game to watch, I know they are not top shelf this year, but it will be a better measuring stick than any other non con games for the bugeaters

You can thank the previous AD and coaching staff for the soft Nebraska non-conference schedules in 2009 & 10 in the words of the current director of football ops, all the previous staff was doing was sceduling wins.
Next year and beyond, Nebraska's non-conference schedule is much more competive.
