| Shauna came out to help me finish a bit of fence up after supper-I told her to switch fencers but NOT to hook up the battery while I finished tidying up some connections about 50 feet away. About a minute later I got 5000 kilovolts-had my knee on one hot wire-my elbow on another and my steel hammer completeing the circuit. I can see why electric fence can be a deterrent lol.

My niece is immune to most fencers, she will hold the wires and get me to twist them,,,,,,,,,,,,, well i only did tht once, with wet hands and in flipflops in wet grass, I was on the ground in a second, with her laughing and still holding on the wire!
NR the worst I ever got was we were pictureing Holstein cows for Altagen and i was washing a cow, put her in the tie stall and was doing up her chain,,, a metal chain,,,,,,,,,,, I leaned against the METAL stall, had very wet feet in running shoes, and while WET touched BOTH of my shoulder blades against the cow stall trainers, 5000volts went through every bit of me that day, no wonder why i am a bit jumpy nowadays

| LoL My 11 year old nephew "accidentally" plugged the fencer in on his Dad this summer. Later (when Dad wasn't around) he was telling us about it, apparently he plugged it in twice with no reaction, third time was the charm!! He was laughing so hard telling the story he had tear's running! I can just imagine the suspense!!!!
