At the sale today, I realized a lot of heifers that either were open or lost calves are being marketed. These would not have been on any Cattle On Feed reports, probably will go on feed for 75 days or so and then be marketed. I seriously doubt any huge impact ion most years, but was curious what kind of increase this is to fats marketed later ths spring,

Response...These heifers will show up in the placement number. Generally, any impact would be marginal at best. Total placements in
February and March TD are below year ago levels. Have a great day.
