the hubby went to Boze-angeles with his best friend yesterday to do their shopping (hey, gotta give hime credit....he is typically one of those "december 24th at 5 pm" shoppers ) and he called me at work to ask "what do you want for Christmas?"....when I told me "nothing", he said "okay....a blender it is!"....there is a package under the tree and I am afraid to ask what it is!!
Whatever you get her, Haymaker, after 30 years of marriage, she deserves something special, simple-yet-unique and FROM YOUR HEART!! I'd much rather have a night out with the hubby (you know, dinner and a movie....just the two of us) than diamonds or rubies!! However you go, Haymaker, good luck and to all on board...........
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

For my wife it's emeralds, when I can't figure out what to get her, but after 20 years and a vacuum cleaner for our first anniversary, she Knows when I have "put effort" into the gift......and when I just buy her something.......
Seems as it is never easy, this year I am stumped. but I still have time.....I'm reading this for ideas to........
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

How about one of those new robot vacuum cleaners?
Now who wouldn’t want a robot to do the cleaning for you?

| How about a gift certificate to her favorite message shop. Or 6 months worth of pedicures or manicures. I still have to say diamonds are a girls best friend. I have a anniversary ring Roscoe got me. And I always feel special when I slip that baby on. Warm and fuzzy all over again.

Many years ago when we had a hunting guide business, I cooked for all the hunters, in my house, in my kitchen and had no dishwasher. Some of those meals were awfully late at night. My wish for Christmas was a Fabreware electric griddle. I mentioned it. I talked about it. I showed HIM what it was. Christmas came. The big surprise was...NO GRIDDLE. He went in the day before Christmas and it was gone. The day after Christmas I marched right down and ordered me one.
I still have it too.
