Christmas past

The ribbons are busted and wrapping ripped off.
The lights must come down and the be packaged real soft.

The tree it did make it with green still displayed,
The ornaments remove and store them away.

Another year past with health still intact.
The kids are all growing even faster in fact.

The time gets away where tell did it go ?
I was here the whole way but I do not know.

My life is half done many Christmases past,
Will 06 be the next one or is this one the last.

Life has no meaning if Christ isn't in.
With eternity looming what fate is yours men?
