Thanks guys, we are supposed to have good weather until Sunday then it is going to rain. Or so they say, but it is looking good again this year. The lord has blessed with an excellent crop.

| I don't know jack about beans, but that sure looks like a fine crop to me. There is a lot of beans on every plant. Thanks for an interesting post!

Cowzilla the stems were tough, but the beans themselves were 12-13% moisture. Which is really good. They pretty much all had 50-55 pods and they were only 2 or 2.5 inches apart, and they grew in clusters of five on the stem. We aren't complaining with what we got we are just really glad we got what we got because we were short rain in July and August. And those are the two key months for beans. They are essentially made in those two months.

| great pics........ I bet that the old massey drives pretty good being paid for and all. just take your time and feed it steady.Is it a gear drive or hydostat? what do you pull all those big loaded wagons out of the field with?

That is one fantastic set of pictures! Any part of the growing season is good but there is something special about seeing those wagons heaped with bean or corn standing at the end of the field at the end of the day.
